I apologize for not posting in a while. I needed to take a much needed break. However, while on vacation I visited the exhibit of Ghanaian designer, Mimi Plange. The F/W 2011 collection “Scarred Perfection” was initially presented at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York, and is now on display at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta (SCAD Atlanta). The collection ‘Scarred Perfection’ is inspired by the traditional religious sacrifices conducted in many African countries.  If you are in Atlanta, the exhibit is available until 1 June 2012!
